1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work in comparable ways, and we refer to all of them as “cookies” in this policy.

It is set by pentara.com, contains only that choice and which version of this policy you answered, and expires after 180 days, when we ask again. We also ask again whenever we change what analytics does. - Preferences.
pentara_wp_popup, kept in your browser’s local storage rather than as a cookie, remembers that you closed the white-paper pop-up or already requested the paper, so it does not open again. It holds only the name of the paper and that choice, is never sent to us or anyone else, and stays until you clear your browser’s site data. - Analytics (only with your consent). If you click “Accept analytics,” we load Google Analytics, which sets
_ga(expires after 2 years) and_ga_<ID>(expires after 2 years) to distinguish visitors and sessions. We do not use cookies to serve advertising, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.
3. How to Control Cookies
You can change your choice at any time with the link in the footer of every page. Choosing “Reject” after accepting stops Google Analytics immediately and deletes the cookies it set. Most browsers also let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings; see the help pages for your browser.
